 LifeTouch plans to be here for Retake Picture Day on Thursday, September 25th. This is for all students, faculty and staff who were not photographed on Registration Day. Please make plans to have your picture taken that day so that everyone can be included in the 2014-2015 Pyramid yearbook. New students to the district and new staff members are especially encouraged to get this done. LifeTouch will set up in the Learning Center at the start of school.


Get ready, Spanish Club starts soon. Our fundraiser will take place starting October 14, make the date on your calendar. Sell three items to join Spanish Club and get a free t-shirt. We are looking for shirt ideas, please submit your ideas to Mrs. Smith.


Juniors: If you haven’t ordered a t-shirt for homecoming week you can still order one from Madd Epplin or Mrs. Cannon, the cost is $8. Wednesday will be the absolute final day to order.


Freshman fundraisers are due Tuesday, the 23rd. Freshmen need to keep selling their items.


Balfour will be back Monday, September 29 from 8:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. in the cafetorium. Orders for class rings, letter jackets, and graduation products should be placed at that time.


Any Senior who was absent Monday should see Mr. Herbst to pick up a packet of information about graduation items.


The PCHS Beta Club Blood Drive will be held on Thursday, October 2nd. Sign up to donate blood in your English class, you must be 16 or older.


Rend Lake College is hosting a Regional College Fair from 6 to 7 P.M. on Thursday, September 23 in the Gymnasium at the Ina campus. Junior and Senior students are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to meet with reps from over 40 different colleges and universities.


Juniors and Seniors: A representative from SEMO will be on campus on Wednesday morning, please sign up outside the counseling office if you are interested and pick up a pass the morning of the visit.


Do you want to take an active role in recycling? Do you want to make a difference in your high school as well as the community? Do you need community service hours? Or do you just need a few extra dollars? The Green Team is the organization for you! Come hear what the Green Team is all about Thursday morning at 7:45 in Mrs. Lietz’s room.


Boys basketball meeting Wednesday 7:45 am in Thomas Gym. Any boy that plans on playing basketball needs to attend the meeting this Wednesday.
