The Varsity baseball and softball games vs Nashville today will both be played at 4:30 today as scheduled. The JV Baseball for today vs Nashville has been postponed to Tuesday 4/23.

With the potential for dangerous storms taking place while our opponent would be traveling home this evening, the Girls Soccer game vs Harrisburg scheduled for today has been cancelled. A make up date is TBD.

The Boys and Girls track meet at Chester today has been cancelled. The track teams will practice today at 3 pm.

Varsity baseball and softball at AJ and JV baseball at Pinckneyville will all start at 4pm today instead of 4:30.

The Varsity Baseball game vs Carterville will be played at John A Logan at 5 pm today.

On Saturday, April 13, the softball team will compete for their 1,000th win in program history as they take on Goreville at 10 am and Carbondale at around 2 pm. The girls currently sit at 998 wins with a game at West Frankfort tomorrow.

The Varsity baseball game at Carterville will be played today. The JV Baseball team will now travel to DuQuoin and play DuQuoin's JV team at 4:30 instead of playing in Carterville.

The softball game at home vs Red Bud and the Girls track meet at Mt. Vernon have both been cancelled for today. Girls Track will now be going to Benton on Monday 4/15 The softball game make up date is TBD

PCHS Weekly Announcements for March 25-30

Tomorrow is our Annual Drive Your Tractor To School Day. The reason for drive your tractor to school day is more than just a fun day to show off your equipment. It is a day to showcase the skills and safety used by these young agriculturalists. It’s a day that brings awareness to farmers being on the roads. It’s a great way to teach equipment safety to those who did not grow up on a farm. And most importantly, it’s a day where we get to celebrate National Ag Week and advocate for agriculture. Please be on the lookout for equipment on the roads tomorrow morning between 6 and 8am, as well as after 2pm. This is a day many students look forward to all year long. Please help us stay safe so we can continue to do this day each year. If you come up on a tractor driver tomorrow please be courteous and respectful of the driver, follow at a safe distance, and if you must pass, please do so in a safe manner. Don’t be afraid to give the driver a wave or a thumbs up!

The home boys varsity baseball game vs Massac County scheduled for today(3/18) at 4:30 pm has been moved to tomorrow (3/19) at 4:30 pm. The Home Girls JV Soccer game vs Freeburg today is on as scheduled.
